The History Of Our Club....
Out of the ashes of Grim Rides Chicago & Midwest Hearse Society, Hardcore Hearse Club was established in August of 2013. After many years of having friends with hearses and no deserving club to call our own, we decided that it would be fun to have an official club for real hearse enthusiasts to showcase our love of all things hearse related.
We are a group of die-hard hearse junkies who focus on the preservation and education of funeral cars. We love our cars for the exquisite craftsmanship and our members for their hardcore attitudes and diehard love of these custom funeral cars. Our hearses are often recognized from making appearances in movies, photo shoots, newspaper articles, television shows, and music videos. They are also often utilized or featured at many events such as haunted house openings, parades, proms, weddings and milestone birthdays.
No one does it like Hardcore Hearse Club. We were only in our second year, when we hosted and showcased our cars in the largest and most exciting hearse show that Illinois has ever had. This has now become our annual tradition every June with hearse owners from not only the Midwest in attendance but from all around the country. This event has now grown to support and feature tons of creative vendors, fantastic bands, and special guests such as Svengoolie, Butch Patrick and more!
